Rates do not include $250 cleaning fee. In Maine, short-term rentals (stays under 28 days) 

are subject to a statewide 9% lodging (sales) tax on rental & cleaning fees. 

All rentals (regardless of length) require a $1,000 deposit to secure booking. 

The host reserves the right to deduct funds required to repair property or conduct additional cleaning services if property is not left in proper condition.  If damages occur, the host will provide an itemized statement with photos to document scope of repair. Under Maine Title 1, Section 6038, the host reserves the right to withhold full deposit amount and return balance within 30 calendar days from the last day of stay.
